What a week it was…4 Games in 8 Days to win a Championship, and we did just that. We played Valdosta St and West Georgia at Home and then North Alabama and West Alabama on the road and we won all 4!!! We finished the season 21-5 and 9-1 in the GSC East. We will play Harding on Friday night in Southaven, MS in the Gulf South Conference Tournament.

I want to say thank you to everyone who came out at 12:30 AM last night to join us as we cut down the nets in Spragins Hall to celebrate our Championship!

We have been given tickets for the Gulf South Tournament which will be held in Southaven, MS next week.

Weekend Passes are $20 and Day Passes are $8. All of the proceeds will go directly to our basketball program. These tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis. You can come by anytime today or next week and pick up your tickets.

We picked up a huge road win last night against our in state rival UNA.  I would like to say a special thank you to our fans, especially our students. We had well over 100 students who made the one hr drive to help cheer us on, we can’t thank you enough!!!!

That win takes us to 20-5 and tied for first place in the GSC East with Valdosta St.  Our last game in conference is this Saturday at West Alabama.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us last night during our last home game of the season. We defeated West Georgia 74-56, which takes us to 19-5 overall, 7-1 in the GSC, and 12-1 at home this year. We couldn’t have done it without all the amazing support from everyone. Thanks again for everything you guys did this year! The home games might be over, but we still have alot of basketball left, be sure and check back for more details!

The UAH Basketball Coaches Club is making arrangements to take a bus to the West Alabama University game to show support for our women’s and men’s teams.  We made several trips over the last 4 years and have always had a good time. On this trip we will not stop and eat on the way down. You can bring snacks or a sack lunch if you like. We might stop on the way back and eat at a fast food restaurant if the majority wants too.

 The bus will leave from the UAH parking garage at 12:00 P.M. and will return to Spragins Hall immediately after the men’s game.

Please come out and help us finish off this special year at Spragins Hall as we take on West Georgia this Monday night at 7:30 PM! We are currently 18-5 and tied for first in the GSC East, this last home game is huge. Our support from the students and community has been unbelievable this year and I hope everyone will come out and support our guys one last time!!!

What a great night it was for our University, Community, and our Students. In front of a great crowd at Spragins Hall, the Chargers defeated the 4th ranked team in the country 89-71 and snapped their 15 game winning streak. This huge home win puts us in a tie for the GSC East lead with Valdosta St. Thank you so much for your support, our home court advantage has been huge this year.
