Alabama-Huntsville guard Jaime Smith (JR, 6-3, 185, Birmingham, AL) captures his second accolade in three weeks, leading No. 6 UAH to a pair of road wins by averaging 28.5 points in 33.5 minutes and shooting 61.7 percent from the field and 13-for-21 (61.9 percent) from beyond the arc.
The junior tipped off the week in grand fashion, leading the Chargers to an 87-65 win at Valdosta State via a season-high 30 points behind a 7-for-12 effort from three-point range. Next, the Birmingham native ignited Alabama-Huntsville in its second-half comeback at West Florida by scoring 22 of his team-best 27 points in the final 20 minutes.
